As a Senior Specialist Financial Controls and Compliance, you will play a critical role in supporting financial reporting, fixed asset management, general ledger activities, and compliance processes while partnering with business leaders to enable informed decision-making. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·       Support financial activities, business decision-making processes, and strategic projects through accurate financial analysis and expert guidance.

·       Provide proactive support for general ledger activities, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely financial reporting.

·       Prepare and deliver financial analyses and reports with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and data integrity.

·       Ensure timely internal and external reporting, including statutory, tax-related, and Financial Consolidation and Reporting System requirements.

·       Act as first-line support for SAP issues involving fixed assets, cash management, and general ledger processes while contributing to key projects.

Essential Requirements

·       Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must.

·       3 -5+ years of experience in financial accounting, general ledger activities, fixed asset accounting, financial controls, and reporting processes.

·       Knowledge of financial compliance requirements, internal controls, audit support activities, and financial reporting standards.

·       Experience working with SAP or comparable enterprise financial systems.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

·       Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and functions.

Desirable Requirements

·       Experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry.

·       Experience supporting financial transformation projects, process optimization, or continuous improvement initiatives.

·       Experience leveraging analytics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and digital technologies to improve reporting accuracy, compliance monitoring, financial insights, and operational effectiveness.
