Job Description
Works in partnership with department leaders to provide program direction and management. Develops and oversees community-based programs which meet the needs of patients, families, and community served.

Experience

- 4 years of experience coordinating small or department programs
- 4 years of experience in a professional working environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in community programs and health promotion
- For injury and illness prevention, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact, if bachelor’s degree in nursing
- For obesity, Georgia licensed dietitian currently registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or nationally recognized exercise certification or Registered Nurse with obesity related experience
- For behavioral and mental health, licensure if mental health related profession through accrediting entity

Education

- Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field

Certification Summary

- Valid Georgia Driver’s License
- Must have reliable personal automobile
- Proof of vehicle insurance

- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage budgets and other financial skills
- Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, including demonstrated experience working collaboratively with teams and employees at all levels within an organization
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated success in program development, project planning, and project management
- Ability to multitask, balance multiple priorities, and work independently and within teams
- Personal organization and time management

Job Responsibilities

- Creates, manages, and executes project scope, schedule, resources, and change management initiatives.
- Communicates and documents project plan, status updates, business goals, and governance plan to team and stakeholders effectively.
- Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Collaborates with specialists both inside and outside the organization with assigned tasks to deliver subject matter expert activities.
- Ensures project deliverables are on time, high quality, and on budget.
