SUMMARY
The Project Lead IV will lead a team of experienced tribal health communications staff focused on strengthening partnerships with Tribal nations and Tribal-serving organizations undertaking health data modernization projects, planning, and collaboration engagements. Drives strategic project execution, manages stakeholder relationships, oversees risks and dependencies, and ensures project outcomes support organizational objectives. Serves as a senior project resource, mentors other project staff, and contributes to improved project delivery practices across the organization.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
Strong project coordination skills including scheduling, logistics, documentation, and follow-up.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Leads complex, or high-impact projects from planning through completion.
- Provides leadership, direction, and mentoring to project team members.
- Engages with senior stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional leaders to align expectations and priorities.
- Supports the Program Manager by tracking project timelines and deliverables and identifying strategic risks and mitigation strategies. Drives accountability for project milestones, deliverables, and performance outcomes.
- Serves as primary point of contact to the customer for support of Tribal Organization engagement and outreach.
- Provides tactical and leadership support for meetings, working groups, listening sessions, and other engagement forums involving Tribal partners and program stakeholders.
- Works cooperatively with project stakeholders, Tribal partners, and project team members to reach consensus on engagement strategies and implementation activities.
- Reviews project status, performance metrics, and reporting for accuracy and completeness.
- Assists with project management activities including meeting coordination, scheduling, logistics support, and follow-up communications for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leads problem-solving for complex project challenges and supports decision-making with clear analysis.
- Promotes standard project management practices, process improvements, and lessons learned.
- Maintains organized documentation and project records to track progress, outcomes, and stakeholder interactions.
- Ensures project execution aligns with organizational goals, customer requirements, and established procedures.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in Public Health and a minimum of seven or more (7+) years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
