Job Description

International Student Administrator
Location: Auckland
Full-time | Permanent | Yoobee Auckland CBD

About the role:

We’re looking for an International Student Administrator to join our Yoobee International team and provide essential administrative support across our international student operations.

Working as part of the wider international team across the Yoobee group, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes, making sure student information, records and processes are accurate, up to date and managed effectively. There will also be opportunities to connect directly with students, whether responding to enquiries, supporting orientation or getting involved in student events.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining accurate international student records across our student management and CRM systems
- Processing enrolment updates, programme changes, withdrawals, deferrals and other student amendments
- Preparing student documentation, letters, transcripts, receipts and other records
- Supporting refund processing, Public Trust administration, invoicing and other fee-related processes
- Keeping visa, insurance, attendance and other compliance information accurate and up to date
- Responding to student enquiries and helping connect students with the right information or support
- Supporting international student orientation, events and engagement activities
- Assisting with reporting, audits and other compliance administration
- Working closely with campus teams and the wider international team to ensure a smooth student experience

Qualifications

About you:

You’ll be someone who enjoys getting stuck in, has a strong eye for accuracy and is comfortable working across a range of administrative tasks and systems. You’ll be joining a collaborative team, so we’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who is happy to pitch in where needed.

You’ll ideally bring:

- Previous experience in administration, customer service, student services or a similar role
- Strong customer service skills and confidence dealing with people face-to-face, over the phone and via email
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Confidence using databases, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- A team-focused, proactive approach and willingness to learn
- Confidence working with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds

Experience within tertiary education or working with international students or adult learners would be a great advantage, but isn’t essential. More importantly, you’ll bring strong administration and customer service experience, an eye for accuracy and a go-getter attitude.
