- Operating the front-end loader to feed cold bins and manage stockpiles
- Loading and ticketing trucks at the weighbridge
- Carrying out pre-start checks, routine maintenance and housekeeping, and reporting defects promptly
- Working with the laboratory and maintenance teams to keep production on target and the plant running reliably

About You

- Experience operating an asphalt plant, or a comparable process plant such as a quarry or concrete batching plant. Experience on continuous drum or batch plants is highly regarded.
- Front-end loader ticket or demonstrated loader experience
- Sound mechanical understanding and the ability to identify and respond to plant issues
- A high level of accuracy in record-keeping and weighbridge documentation
- A strong commitment to safety and quality
- Current WA driver's licence and Construction White Card
- Availability for early starts, as well as night and weekend work as required by the production program. Our Enterprise Agreement provides overtime opportunities and penalty rates for unsociable hours.

Experienced asphalt plant operators are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with strong loader or process plant experience will also be considered.

What We Offer

- A permanent full-time position with long-term security, backed by a strong pipeline of work
- Remuneration under the applicable Enterprise Agreement, commensurate with experience, plus allowances and overtime
- Ongoing training and development opportunities
- Access to Downer's employee benefits and wellbeing programs
