Salary Band: $80,006.68 - $ 85,798.44 + Super

About the Role: The Intake, Assessment and Service Navigator supports a multidisciplinary approach to mental health care within Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental Health Centre. The role provides intake, assessment, triage and referral allocation in collaboration with the Clinical Lead and Support Services team. It reviews referrals, gathers required information, undertakes risk assessment, supports timely service delivery and waitlist management, and escalates care for clinical support when required. The role also works with community agencies to support integrated care pathways for adults referred to low and high intensity mental health services.

Experience Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced environment.

- At least two years' experience in the mental health sector performing duties consistent with triage and assessment.

- Experience working across Commonwealth and State-funded mental health programs and supporting implementation in line with funding requirements and contracts.

- Experience working effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Qualification and Other Requirements:

- Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
- Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)
- Post-secondary qualification in a relevant field such as human services, social welfare, social work, psychology or mental health, and/or relevant experience in the mental health industry.
