Primary Responsibilities:
This role involves developing and implementing security policies and procedures, managing security incidents, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cybersecurity practices, and a proactive approach to managing and mitigating cyber risks.
v Audit, Harden and suggest mitigation on improving overall Cyber Security posture at Jakson Group Level.
v Develop and implement the organization’s cybersecurity strategy and roadmap
v Coordinate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity practices are integrated across all business functions.
v Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks and implement mitigation strategies.
v Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats.
v Lead the response to cybersecurity incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
v Develop and maintain incident response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure readiness.
v Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
v Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices -ISO 27001.
v Prepare and present regular reports on cybersecurity posture, incidents, and improvements to senior management.
v Oversee the implementation and management of security monitoring tools and technologies.
v Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs for employees to promote awareness and safe practices.
v Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats to enhance the organization's security posture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Proven experience in developing and managing cybersecurity strategies and policies.
- Strong understanding of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Knowledge:
Hands-on experience Network components Router, Switches, Firewall
Must have Proficient with minimum of 4 years of experience with security incidents and analysis as part of the Security Operations Centre (SOC).
Should have deep understanding and have minimum 3 years of experience with SIEM technologies monitoring and investigations.
Familiarity with log analysis (host, network, firewall, IDSIPS) from any device
Fair understanding of Cloud Architecture and O-365
Analytical thinking
Problem Solving approach.
