More Than a Job: A Mission
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Fleet Manager to lead the performance, reliability, and safety of the rolling stock fleet for our Gold Coast Light Rail contract. Based in Southport, QLD , this is a critical leadership role where you will drive operational excellence, foster a high-performing team culture, and ensure our fleet consistently delivers safe, reliable, and efficient services for the community. Reporting to the Services Director - QLD, you will be accountable for the strategic and operational management of fleet engineering, maintenance performance, asset reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to optimise fleet availability, manage risk and compliance obligations, and champion innovation to enhance operational outcomes. Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business, customers, and industry partners, you will develop team capability, strengthen engineering and maintenance practices, and deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions that support long-term contract success. With safety at the heart of everything you do, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Gold Coast Light Rail fleet continues to meet the highest standards of performance and service delivery.

What You Bring
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Commercially astute with experience managing contractual obligations and performance outcomes.
- Agile and adaptable, with the ability to make sound decisions in a dynamic operational environment.
- A collaborative, people-focused leader with demonstrated success building and developing high-performing teams.
- Proven ability to drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and business performance.
- Project/operational management experience, ideally within rolling stock or similar environments.
