Product Owner – Buying & Data/AI (Fixed-Term)

We're now looking for a Product Owner to lead two of our teams: Buying, which shapes the buying journey across tradera.com and our iOS and Android apps, and Data/AI, which builds Tradera's own AI models.

This is a fixed-term employment contract (Sw. särskild visstidsanställning) running from February 2027 to January 2028. We work with a hybrid policy and we'd like you to be at our Stockholm office at least 2-3 days a week.

About the Role

The Buying team's mission is to make buying second-hand as seamless and enjoyable as buying new. The Data/AI team develops the models behind search and recommendations, as well as AI that makes it easier to list items on Tradera. The team works closely with Buying and the rest of the product organization.

As Product Owner, you'll work closely with our CPO. You'll connect what our users need with what our AI models can make possible and make sure that what we build actually reaches users and moves the needle.

Across both teams, you'll be responsible for a total of 7 people, both as team lead and as people manager. You'll support their growth, foster collaboration and keep the teams focused and motivated.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive features and improvements that make second-hand shopping as simple and engaging as buying new.
- Set direction and priorities for the Data/AI team across search, recommendations and AI-assisted listing, making sure model development is tied to clear user and business outcomes.
- Own and prioritize the backlogs for both teams, balancing user feedback, bug fixes, AI initiatives and new features.
- Lead planning and delivery across web, apps and our AI/data platform.
- Collaborate closely with developers, data scientists, UX/design, marketing and other product teams to align priorities and ensure smooth execution.
- Lead and manage the 7 people across both teams, providing guidance, feedback and support to foster growth and high performance.

You're a results-driven leader who knows how to prioritize and deliver meaningful outcomes. You enjoy building strong teams and you're curious about what AI can do for a product.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Previous experience as a people manager, or other solid experience leading a team.
- Experience prioritizing features, bugs and improvements based on user feedback and business impact.
- A track record of working with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Fluency in both Swedish and English.

It's a plus if you have experience working with data, ML or AI products.
