- Properly collects and processes blood from donors/patients; checks quality of blood; and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of donors/patients; following established standards and practices.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Education
- High school or equivalent
- Complete the on-the-job training program in 4-6 weeks
- Minimum Work Experience
- 6 months previous experience OR completion of a Phlebotomist training program
- Required Licenses/Certifications
- Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities
- Maintain logs
