The project:
Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for major new-build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments, and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadia capacity, delivering major mixed-use amenities, and introducing robust knowledge transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond construction.
Supports the planning function to deliver medium-complexity projects, portfolios or sections of larger programmes. Ensures projects and tenders are planned, scheduled and monitored in line with defined processes, working collaboratively with project management teams to drive timely, profitable delivery and achieve agreed outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Champion safety, wellbeing, inclusivity and responsible delivery across every project.
- Deliver projects through clear planning, quality systems and strong stakeholder collaboration.
- Supervise change and commercial performance with integrity.
- Lead teams to achieve KPIs, share best practice and unlock potential across Mace.
- Develops integrated project plans which respond to site, logistics and programme constraints.
- Tracks progress, productivity, deadlines and reporting obligations with project teams.
- Builds trusted relationships with clients, stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Embeds safety, sustainability and carbon reduction throughout programme delivery.
You’ll need to have:
- Competency to produce programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision.
- Intermediate software user; Ability to provide schedule outputs in a various format to suit the audience/context.
- Established experience in built environment and with projects.
- Understands different procurement routes and types and forms of contract.
- Basic understanding of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) stages.
- Exposure to the principles or use of different types of contracts.
- Able to respond to all client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
- Communicate & present to project team on programme drivers, goals & issues, etc.
- Working towards professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, APM, PMI).
- Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.
