Siemens Financial Services (SFS) is looking for an Associate Senior Data & BI Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Data & Business Intelligence team in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will contribute to the development of data-driven reporting and analytics solutions that support business, portfolio, and risk management decisions across Siemens Financial Services. You will work closely with business stakeholders, risk experts, and IT teams to transform complex data into meaningful insights, implement KPI frameworks, and support data-driven decision-making across multiple business domains. By leveraging modern data technologies and cloud-based analytics platforms, you will help deliver scalable reporting solutions that create business value and support informed decision-making. Your mission will beâŠ
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting and analytics solutions that support portfolio, financial, and risk management.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into scalable data and reporting solutions.
- Implement KPI frameworks and steering concepts to support performance management and decision making.
- Analyze portfolio performance, business trends, and risk indicators to generate actionable insights.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain data models, transformations, and data marts within our cloud-based data platform.
- Build and enhance interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
- Use SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to develop reliable, efficient, and scalable analytics solutions.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting and analytics products.
- Work closely with international teams and IT partners in an agile and collaborative environment.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, analytics methods, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
We are looking for someone withâŠ
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of work experience in the data and business intelligence field or in a business role with a strong technical understanding.
- Proven experience delivering data-driven reporting and analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of financial services, portfolio management, and risk management concepts.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, dbt, and Snowflake, including data modelling, data
- transformation, and the development of scalable reporting and analytics solutions. Experience working with modern cloud-based data platforms and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex datasets. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business and technical
- perspectives.
- Experience in risk analytics, financial reporting, or commercial finance is considered an advantage.
