Job purpose
As Business Unit Head, Oncology, you will lead the Oncology Business Unit in Denmark, with accountability for strategy, commercial performance and people leadership.
You will:
- Lead the Oncology Business Unit in Denmark, shaping strategy, performance and people
- Build, inspire and develop a high-performing commercial team across Sales and Marketing
- Collaborate closely with Medical, Market Access, Supply and country leadership to deliver sustainable growth, prepare for launches and improve patient outcomes.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead the commercial P&L, manage budgets and prioritise investment across channels
- Build, coach and develop the commercial team with strong scientific and omnichannel skills
- Set the strategic direction, drive launch readiness and execution plans to achieve the objectives
- Build trusted external relationships with healthcare professionals, payers and patient groups
- Be an active member of the Danish Leadership Team (DLT)
- Ensure compliant, ethical conduct and strong risk management in all external activities.

Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals
- Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Science, Pharmacy or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in comparable leadership roles within the pharmaceutical industry
- Proven experience in Oncology and / or Hematology
- Demonstrated people-leadership experience, including responsibility for Sales and Marketing teams
- Experience leading product launches or major brand life-cycle initiatives
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing a P&L or significant budgets
- A strong track record in account management, omnichannel marketing and sales force effectiveness
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus
- An advanced degree, such as an MBA or PhD, in a relevant field
- Experience working with Market Access, Health Economics or payer strategy
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively across matrixed, cross-functional teams
- Fluency in Danish and previous experience in the Danish market
- Global and / or regional and / or Above market experience.

Danish Salary Range: DKK 846,000 to DKK 1,410,000The annual gross base salary range for new hires in this position is listed above for each applicable location. These ranges take into account a number of factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position may offer an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
