Description:

Work Experience -
● 4-6+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance with a primary focus on test automation and End-to-End (E2E) system testing.
● Proven experience testing and automating mobile applications interfaced with physical hardware or IoT devices (Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi provisioning, local network protocols).
● Strong experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso, PyTest, RestAssured, or similar).
● Extensive experience with RESTful API testing, cloud solution validation, and backend service verification.
● Solid understanding of local data persistence, offline-first app behavior testing, and network conditioning.
● Experience with push notifications testing (Firebase Cloud Messaging/FCM) and network traffic inspection tools (e.g., Charles Proxy, Postman, Wireshark).
● Bonus: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and automated build/test triggers.

Skill Set -
Automation & Frameworks: Appium, Espresso, PyTest, RestAssured, Selenium, Postman. Languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, SQL. Testing Domains: Mobile UI Automation, REST API Testing, E2E Appliance-Cloud Integration, BLE/Wi-Fi Provisioning Testing. Tools: Android Studio, ADB, Git/GitHub, Postman, Firebase, Charles Proxy / Wireshark, Jenkins / GitHub Actions. Database & Cloud: Room Persistence/SQLite inspection, AWS/GCP Cloud IoT service validation.

Qualifications –

● BE / BTECH (Computer Science / IT / Electronics) or equivalent from a reputed institute.
● Preferred: ISTQB Certification (Foundation/Advanced) or proven portfolio of test automation achievements.
