Job Title: Nurse Practitioner Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive patient assessments, including gathering medical histories, conducting physical examinations, and carrying out diagnostic evaluations. The role involves diagnosing and treating both acute and chronic medical conditions, developing and monitoring individualized treatment plans, and managing patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and analyze laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other clinical studies.
- Manage and monitor patients with chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases.
- Provide preventive health services, screenings, and patient education.
- Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with Florida regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease management, treatment plans, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills
- Active Florida Nurse Practitioner license (APRN)
- National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, ACNP, or related specialty)
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner
- Experience in cardiology and/or primary care settings
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Work Environment
The position requires working onsite at a clinic in Hollywood, FL, two days a week, specifically Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm. This permanent opportunity offers a structured schedule in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
