About this role

We are seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in one of the following - Body Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, or Neuroradiology - to join our new Multispecialty Radiology Division within the MCW Department of Radiology.

Successful candidates should possess strong multispecialty radiology skills while maintaining expertise within their subspecialty fellowship-training area. Involvement in educational, quality / safety, research, and community engagement opportunities unique to being an integral component of an academic radiology department is encouraged, making this an exceptional opportunity for radiologists seeking both professional fulfillment; positive impact; and career stability.

Scope:

- Daytime work - Focus on ED/IP/OP work performed outside of the Froedtert Hospital campus (to include CHD Hospitals, CP sites, RAYUS centers, and Neighborhood Hospitals)
- Call - All ED/IP sites for call coverage
- Modalities – DX, US, CT, MR

Location :

- Onsite; hybrid; or remote
- Onsite faculty would be scheduled at offsite locations (e.g. CHD sites, RAYUS, CP locations) Note: Multispecialty Radiology Division faculty may also be asked to provide occasional coverage at Froedtert Hospital main campus

Schedule :

- Defined # of clinical shifts/hours with off-peak non-holiday, weeknight shifts and weekend/holiday expectations 206 clinical workdays 166 ‘daytime’ M-F shift assignments – 9-hour shifts - (7A-4P or 8A-5P) - focused on ED, IP, and OP imaging
- 40 ‘off-peak’ weeknight M-F shift assignments – 8-hour shifts (2P-10P) focused primarily on ED and IP imaging

- 136 weekend / holiday call hours 16 (8-hour length) weekend shifts – Q7 frequency
- 1 holiday shift (8-hour length)
- ~50% call hours (7A-3P) / ~50% call hours (2P-10P)

Vacation :

- 49 vacation days, in addition to 6 FTCH observed holidays (New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas).
- No carry-over.
- Prorated if: start or leave mid-year/part-time.

Compensation :

Staff Physicians in the Multispecialty Radiology Division will follow the MCP Staff Physician Hospital-Based Compensation Plan, using a production-based compensation model and annual MGMA Physician Survey Data.

$/wRVU Rate will be calculated using latest available annual MGMA Physician Compensation and Production Survey data for Radiology and not based on revenues collected.

Tier | wRVU Production Percentile | Specialty-Specific $ / wRVU rate

Tier 1 - Less than 45th percentile | 90% median $ / wRVU rate

Tier 2 - 45th through 65th percentile | 100% median $ / wRVU rate

Tier 3 - Greater than 65th percentile | 100% median $ / wRVU rate (up to 65 th percentile) | 110% median $ / wRVU rate ( for production above the 65th percentile )

Staff Physicians in this Division will be guaranteed access to a minimum wRVUs of at least the 50 th percentile MGMA.

Eligible for up to $10,000 annual bonus pending performance in 3 metrics (quality, teaching, and professionalism/citizenship)

Teaching/Case Conferences :

While not required, Multispecialty Division members are encouraged to participate in teaching opportunities and case conferences.

Staff Physicians may be called upon to review cases preliminarily reviewed by trainees and to provide input or feedback for trainees.

Qualifications:

- Must be a Board Certified/Eligible radiologist.
- Successfully completed a fellowship in one of the following - Body Imaging, Cardiothoracic Imaging, Emergency Radiology, Musculoskeletal Imaging, or Neuroradiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in Wisconsin.
