A Brief Overview

The Product Manger (PM) is responsible for defining and executing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Treaty Administration and Claims products.. Working at the Sub-Domain or Business Level, the Product Manager ensures that products deliver business value, customer impact, and market differentiation. They own the relationship with Business Leadership and External Customers, while collaborating closely with Product Owners, Engineering and Design to align product strategy with market demands and customer needs. They ensure a successful product launch by defining and executing a go to market plan. The Product Manager is accountable for defining business cases, prioritization frameworks, and value-driven decision-making to optimize the product's success.

What you will do

- Defines the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product or group of products while serving as the face of the product, communicating the vision and roadmap to the organization and ensuring alignment across leadership, teams, and external partners while considering customer needs, market trends, and business objectives.
- Partners with leadership to develop business cases and ensure proper funding.
- Engages with customers, conducts market research, and competitive analysis to inform product direction.
- Works closely with Product Owners to translate strategy into an actionable roadmap through a refinement of features and backlog priorities.
- Leads cross-functional alignment with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success teams and facilitates cross-functional planning and trade-off discussions by working closely with engineering and design teams to ensure feasibility and user-centric development.
- Owns the product roadmap by balancing technical constraints, business objectives, and customer needs while ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs.
- Defines key success metrics (OKRs, KPIs) and continuously tracks product performance including customer adoption, retention, and market impact to inform future enhancements.
- Advocates for iterative, hypothesis-driven approach to product development.
- Influences decision-making to ensure product decisions are data-driven and support business growth utilizing strategic insights and compelling storytelling.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) MBA or relevant field preferred
- 6+ Years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or a related role
- Experience managing a single product or multiple related products within a portfolio
- Experience working with stakeholders, engineering teams, and business leaders to define and execute product strategies. required
- Experience managing product Profit & Loss, pricing strategies, and go-to-market execution.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Lean Product Development, and user-centered design principles.
- Strong ability to define product vision and roadmap based on business and market needs.
- Expertise in prioritization frameworks for backlog management. Deep understanding of Agile, Lean Startup, and Customer Development methodologies.
- Exceptional ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Strong negotiation and facilitation skills to drive alignment on product direction.
- Comfortable presenting product roadmaps, trade-offs, and decisions to executives and customers.
- Strong experience conducting customer research, competitive analysis, and market validation.
- Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
- Proficiency in A/B testing, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong understanding of technical architecture, APIs, and cloud-based software development.
- Ability to partner with engineering teams to make informed trade-offs.

Compensation Range:

Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
