About this role
Manager, Product Manager - In Person Transactions
#
Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.
About the Team
Capital One is reimagining how customers bank in person. Our ATM and in-person banking technology organization builds the software platforms behind a nationwide fleet of ATMs, self-service kiosks, and branch network devices, moving the experience from reliable cash access toward real-time, intelligent,
customer-first interactions.
The In-Person Transactions (IPT) team is redefining the technology that powers our customers' physical financial touchpoints where our customers interact with their money. We operate at the critical intersection of digital software and physical hardware, managing the full ATM stack and the broader ecosystem of in-person banking. While this space has traditionally relied on rigid hardware constraints, we're aggressively rethinking the status quo, building software-driven solutions that treat physical devices as intelligent, connected endpoints rather than static machines. By prioritizing a digital-first architecture, we're transforming everyday transactions into seamless digital experiences and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the physical-to-digital ecosystem.
As a Product Manager for IPT, you'll step into a high-impact, senior individual contributor role driving two critical and complex initiatives.
- First, you'll spearhead the zero-to-one launch of a net-new product at the intersection of digital experiences and physical money movement. The core challenge, and the excitement of this build, lies in untangling intricate physical and servicing dependencies to engineer a seamless digital experience. You'll collaborate closely with engineering, user research, and design to solve complex customer and business challenges and bring a groundbreaking product to market.
- Second, you'll lead the evolution of our ecosystem by building advanced, data-centric features. You'll leverage our rich data sets and explore opportunities to integrate machine learning and generative AI to uncover operational efficiencies and build intelligent connections across our systems. This is a chance to architect smart, predictive solutions that strip away legacy constraints and redefine how intelligently and autonomously our systems operate.
You'll set direction across both areas, balancing net-new strategic bets against platform modernization, reliability, and compliance work. It's a high-exposure role spanning data platforms, payments, observability, and security, with regular interaction across engineering, design, operations, and senior leadership.
