Automotive Service Advisor – Valley Nissan Mitsubishi
Valley Nissan Mitsubishi is growing, and we are looking for the right person to join our Service Department.

As an Automotive Service Advisor , you will be the primary point of contact between our guests and our service team. You will help guests understand their vehicle's maintenance and repair needs, communicate recommendations clearly, keep them updated throughout the repair process, and make sure they leave feeling taken care of.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Greet guests promptly and provide a professional, welcoming service experience
- Listen carefully to guests concerns and accurately document vehicle symptoms
- Review vehicle history, mileage, and manufacturer-recommended maintenance
- Present maintenance and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
- Prepare accurate estimates for parts, labor, and recommended services
- Review digital vehicle inspections, including technician photos and videos, with guests
- Maintain consistent communication with guests throughout the repair process
- Provide guests with updates on vehicle status, recommendations, costs, and expected completion times
- Work closely with technicians, parts personnel, and service management to keep repairs moving efficiently
- Obtain guest authorization for approved repairs and properly document declined services
- Review completed repairs and ensure repair orders are accurate before vehicle delivery
- Explain completed work and final charges to guests
- Follow up with guests and help build long-term relationships
- Maintain accurate repair-order documentation and dealership records
- Help create an exceptional guest experience from check-in through vehicle delivery
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple guests and repair orders at once
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, text messaging, email, and other digital communication tools
- Basic automotive knowledge or willingness to learn
- Professional appearance and communication
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Desire to build a long-term career with a growing organization
EXPERIENCE THAT HELPS
Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Service Writer, Service Consultant, Assistant Service Advisor, automotive salesperson, parts professional, or customer-service professional is a plus.
Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate . We are willing to train someone who brings strong communication skills, accountability, customer-service ability, and the desire to learn.
