## Summary:
Assist in establishing and maintaining the flight training program. Assist the Chief Pilot in formulating standardized training procedures in accordance with Part 135 training requirements. Conducts company crewmember training and standardization activities, pilot aircraft specific training and proficiency evaluations. Tracks crew currency and ensures RFM currency; initiates changes to company training manuals as necessary.

## Required Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

## Recommended Education:
Associate Degree

## Required Work Experience:
Transport - 2 years of operational experience as an instructor in a part 135 operation, or 2 years Military Instructor Pilot and a minimum total flight time of 3000 hours.2500 flight hours pilot in command (PIC) turbine engine rotaary wing. 500 hours multi-engine, 200 hours of night operations including 50 hours of NVG, and 100 hours actual or simulated instrument experience.

Description

1. Primary contact in training and standardization as outlined in Federal Regulation Part 135 Operations.

2. Formulates standardized training procedures and objectives.

3. Develops lesson plans and schedules instructional activities.

4. Ensures that all required flight checks and ground training are completed within Federal Regulation 135.301.

5. Reports unsatisfactory performance to the Chief Pilot.

6. Ensures check airman activity report has been sent to the Principal Operations Inspector at the end of each calendar quarter.

7. Assists the Chief Pilot to insure that flight publications are ordered and posted.

8. Ensures that all training forms are completed and filed in the Airman Training Folder, with copies forwarded to the FAA Principal Operations Inspector in a timely manner.

9. Ensures flight and orientation of new pilot staff has been completed.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.
