Bucks County Community College is seeking a skilled IT Systems Analyst to join our IT team. The IT Systems Analyst serves as the primary resource for the support, administration, and continuous improvement of the school's portfolio of software applications and technology systems. By ensuring that faculty, staff, and students have reliable, secure, and effective access to the tools they need, this role helps enable teaching, learning, and administrative success. The IT Systems Analyst ensures system reliability, resolves complex issues, manages upgrades and integrations, and evaluates new technology solutions that enhance business and academic operations.

In this role you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, vendors, developers and IT support teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, provide user training and support, and ensure systems comply with security, regulatory, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the collection of client requirements and translating them into application features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for system enhancements and new technology initiatives.
- Partner with IT infrastructure, security, and support teams to ensure applications comply with organizational standards and cybersecurity requirements. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 application support by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving complex system and user issues. Manage and maintain integrations between applications, data warehouse platforms, and cloud systems via APIs and integration tools.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including installation guides, configuration settings, troubleshooting steps, and support system reference documentation.
- Support staff and faculty with issue resolution, training, and functional guidance on legal-specific tools.
- Coordinate with vendors for patch delivery, issue troubleshooting, and application roadmap discussions.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree, or associate’s degree with relevant experience
- 2-3 years of experience supporting enterprise software in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Student Information System (SIS) experience required.
- Advanced understanding of how enterprise applications operate in Microsoft environments, including infrastructure dependencies, access controls, and upgrade/patching processes.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience providing direct end-user support, including troubleshooting application issues, responding to service requests, resolving technical problems, and delivering exceptional customer service to faculty, staff, and students.
- Experience with software patching, issue resolution, supporting student applications, lifecycle support, and system updates.
- Knowledge of system integration methods (API use, file-based transfer, basic scripting).
- Workday Platform and Student system experience preferred.
- Excellent documentation skills, attention to detail, and strong time management abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a K-12, higher education, or nonprofit environment.
- Workday Platform and Student system experience.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, data privacy regulations, and IT governance standards

Salary Range $55,660 - $67,000 (commensurate with experience)
