Purpose
The Director & Head, Global GTB Sales Execution and Business Management, is accountable for translating the global GTB Sales strategy into disciplined execution and measurable commercial outcomes. The role leads the sales operating model, performance management, business governance, strategic planning, and sales transformation agenda across regions and business lines.
As a senior advisor to the Global Head of GTB Sales, the Director provides the insight, constructive challenge, and execution leadership required to accelerate revenue, deposit, fee, pipeline, and client acquisition growth; strengthen accountability; improve sales productivity and coverage effectiveness; and maintain a strong risk and control environment.
What You'll Do:
Sales Strategy and Execution: Own the operating discipline required to translate the global GTB Sales strategy into measurable commercial outcomes across regions, business lines, segments, and products.
- Drive delivery of revenue, core deposit, fee, pipeline, client acquisition, and growth objectives; identify performance gaps and lead timely remediation.
- Improve sales productivity, coverage effectiveness, cross-border execution, and collaboration across GTB, GBM, Canadian Banking, International Banking, and partner functions.
Performance Management and Analytics: Establish and lead sales operating cadences, including pipeline reviews, scorecard reviews, regional and business-line reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive forums.
- Own executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, management information, and analytics that provide clear visibility into performance by region, segment, product, and client type.
- Translate complex performance data into clear decisions, actions, and accountability; constructively challenge leaders on delivery against scorecards and business plans.
Business Management and Governance: Advise the Global Head of GTB Sales on business priorities, strategic planning, resource allocation, execution risks, and opportunities to accelerate growth.
- Lead leadership agendas, executive business reviews, planning forums, decision-making routines, accountability tracking, executive communications, and board-level materials.
- Establish effective sales governance and operating controls; ensure compliance with Bank policies and delegated authorities; and lead the identification, escalation, and remediation of issues.
- Safeguard the quality, consistency, and integrity of management information and promote a strong risk, control, and conduct culture globally.
Transformation and Sales Enablement: Lead strategic initiatives, sales transformation programs, CRM enhancements, workflow improvements, and enablement priorities that strengthen execution and client outcomes.
- Build alignment across countries, business lines, product teams, and control functions while fostering inclusion, collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
What You'll Bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in transaction banking sales, sales effectiveness, business management, financial services, consulting, or enterprise strategy.
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-wide or global initiatives and driving measurable commercial outcomes across a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong knowledge of transaction banking products, commercial and corporate clients, sales operating models, and global financial services environments.
- Executive presence, sound judgment, and the ability to influence senior leaders, challenge constructively, and drive accountability across countries and business lines.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights, decisions, and actions.
- Advanced capabilities in performance management, business analytics, executive reporting, stakeholder management, communication, and data-driven business case development; able to manage competing priorities in a high-intensity environment.
