Senior Manager of Sales Enablement (Preference for Marlborough, MA but may consider other locations in the US)

The Senior Manager of Sales Enablement will own the systems, processes, and tooling that power the Breast & Skeletal Health Solutions Division’s commercial engine. This role turns strategy into action—building the CRM, automation, and deal-execution infrastructure that lets the sales organization move faster, price with discipline, and operate with confidence. This individual will serve as a change agent, partnering closely with Sales, IT, Finance, and Commercial Analytics to standardize how the field sells, quotes, and closes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and systems thinker with deep Salesforce and CPQ expertise, a track record of automating manual sales processes, and the leadership presence to drive adoption across a large commercial team.

What to Expect:

Enablement & Systems Leadership

• Develop and execute the sales enablement and commercial-systems strategy, ensuring the tech stack scales with the division’s growth priorities.

• Serve as the operational backbone for the commercial team’s key initiatives—translating strategy into workflows, system configurations, and repeatable processes.

• Act as a change agent, establishing best practices and driving continuous improvement in how the field sells, quotes, and manages deals.

CRM & Platform Administration

• Own configuration of the division's footprint within the shared, enterprise-wide Salesforce CRM instance—objects, page layouts, flows, and sales processes—partnering with Corporate IT, which administers the underlying platform, security, and release management.

• Safeguard data integrity and hygiene across the CRM, defining governance standards and monitoring adoption and data quality.

• Drive user adoption through enablement, training, and intuitive system design that reduces friction for the sales team.

Process Automation & Sales Operations

• Design and deploy workflow automation to eliminate manual steps in the quote-to-close process, approvals, and pipeline management.

• Own pipeline management tooling and hygiene—ensuring accurate stages, forecasting inputs, and deal-progression discipline.

• Build and maintain approval governance and routing logic that enforces pricing and discount policy within the system.

Deal & Contracting Enablement

• Own the division's Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) configuration on the shared CPQ platform—product/price setup, quoting workflows, discount and stacking logic, and guided selling—coordinating with Corporate IT and the other divisions on anything affecting shared objects.

• Translate approved pricing and ASP-defense policy into CPQ—embedding contracting rules, approval thresholds, and guardrails directly into the deal process so the field executes within the guidelines the division has set.

• Partner closely with the division's Strategic Pricing team to accurately configure approved price structures, discount rules, and approval logic in CPQ—serving as the system-side counterpart that turns their pricing strategy into enforceable, well-governed workflows.

• Enable financing and service-based commercial motions by building the quoting, workflow, and system support the field needs to execute them consistently.

Corporate IT Liaison & Integration

• Serve as the primary liaison between the division's commercial organization and Corporate IT (shared services), translating business needs into platform requirements and shepherding them through enterprise change-governance.

• Partner with Corporate IT on integrations between Salesforce, CPQ, and adjacent systems (finance, ERP, BI/semantic layer), defining commercial requirements and validating clean, reliable data flow across the shared stack.

• Partner with Commercial Analytics to ensure enablement systems feed the reporting and PowerBI decision layer with accurate, well-structured data.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of enablement and operations specialists, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning.

• Build team capabilities by identifying skill gaps and providing training to strengthen technical and business acumen.

• Manage project timelines and priorities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of systems and process improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Finance, Strategic Pricing, and Sales leadership to operationalize compensation, pricing, and service programs within the commercial systems—implementing in CPQ and CRM the structures those teams own and approve.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to align enablement efforts with broader go-to-market goals.

• Act as a liaison to external vendors, consultants, and platform partners as needed.

What we Expect:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Strong hands-on expertise administering CRM platforms (Salesforce required)—configuration, flows/automation, permissions, and release management.

• Direct experience owning or administering a CPQ / Configure-Price-Quote solution (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ, or comparable), including pricing rules, discount/approval logic, and quoting workflows.

• Demonstrated experience with system integration and middleware—APIs, connectors, or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, or similar)—to connect CRM with finance, ERP, and BI systems.

• Proven ability to automate manual sales processes and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and data quality.

• Working knowledge of BI/data-visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) sufficient to partner effectively with analytics and data engineering.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences and drive adoption across a sales organization.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Deep knowledge of the medical sales industry, including sales processes, pricing, and deal structures, preferred.

Preferred

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Administrator, Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist).

• Experience with sales compensation / incentive-compensation (ICM) systems and their integration with CRM.

• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations in the healthcare industry.

• Experience supporting enablement across multiple product lines or therapeutic areas.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Field of study preferred in Business, Information Systems, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.

• Advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in sales enablement, sales operations, commercial systems, or a related field.

• At least 3 years in a leadership role.

The annualized base salary range for this role is $123,000 to $175,000 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs, and market demand.
