Shift/Hours: Monday - Thursday 7AM to 6PM, Friday 7AM to 4PM + Overtime

Pay Rate: $24 - $28 per hour/ DOE

Location: Rosenberg, TX

Experience: 5+ years of experience

CNC Machinist Job Duties Include:
Observe a safe work environment, and utilize equipment in a safe manner. Set up and operate CNC Machine equipment to on time support customer delivery. Adhere to safe work habits, rules, and practices, including the correct use of safety devices and equipment; maintain a clean and orderly workplace to include preventative machine maintenance. Exhibit behavior that contributes to an environment that encourages team building, decision making, problem-solving and continuous improvement. Responsible for quality of work performed; work efficiently and to required specifications and standards, with minimal supervision. Must have a desire and ability to work overtime as needed. Additional duties as assigned by the team leader and/or team advisor.

CNC Machinist Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent 7 Years of experience with CNC and/or Manual Machining Ability to hold tolerances within .0005" Basic Computer Skills Ability to perform general machine shop mathematics and calculations. Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints and drawings, and to apply to work as needed Experience in using and interpreting precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and depth gauges Ability to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting up to 50 lbs, and ability to periodically climb steps and ladders to operate machines, inspect parts and assemble components.

CNC Machinist Preferred Skills:
Using Fanuc 6-axis robots. Operation of vertical mills with third party pallet changers. Variable g-code programming. Setting up equipment for lights out manufacturing. Creating standard of work for automated processes. Basic computer competency. Read and understand blueprints and drawings. Operate micrometers, dial indicators, and depth gauges. Understand basic shop math and calculations.  Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
