Material Handler I (7:00pm-7:00am, 7:00am-7:00pm)-$16.50/hr

Who we are looking for:
We are currently looking for a Material Handler I to be based out of Thomasville, GA. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler I will be responsible for packing finished goods, monitor products for defects, assist in the start-up or changeover of products and keep work area clean and organized

What youll do:
Material Handler's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Bundle pipe according to inventory and shipping specifications
Update Hour by Hour boards and compare colors, shapes, textures or grades of products or material with templates or samples to verify conformance to quality standards
Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to achieve productivity and site goals
Adhere to all safety procedures and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately

What youll bring:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of manufacturing processes desired
Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Within 3 months, youll:
Complete any required training
Have developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this role.
Be well-versed in Atkores Business System and the importance of your role to daily operations.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $16.50 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
