About the Position
The Senior Project Manager leads the overall management and successful delivery of a portfolio of large, complex construction projects from turnover through final closeout, serving as the primary business leader on each project. This role is accountable for customer satisfaction, contract administration, financial performance, schedule management, and risk mitigation, while coordinating closely between field and office teams. The Senior Project Manager partners with Field Executives, customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, and on schedule, and also mentors Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project coordinators. The role covers project execution planning, budget and contract management, customer relationship management, risk and procurement coordination, and supports the company's broader safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports to the Project Executive.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 8+ years of commercial construction project management experience, including leadership of large, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project financial management, and project delivery processes.
- Experience managing budgets, forecasts, change orders, and customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or QuickBooks preferred.
- Experience in drywall, ACT, siding, insulation, framing, or specialty contracting environments preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and mentoring project team members preferred.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
- Preferred certification: OSHA 30.
