The Opportunity

As Senior Program Optimization Consultant - Commercial Cards, you’ll act as the client advocate across HSBC’s global network to deliver strong client outcomes. This role focuses on growing and retaining Commercial Card programs across a portfolio of clients while supporting the rollout of products and propositions. You’ll bring a clear view of client initiatives, operating procedures, organization structures and needs to shape Commercial Card solutions that fit their business. Success means running effective quarterly reviews, improving performance and converting opportunities into sustainable growth. The remit spans multiple regions and global businesses, working closely with stakeholders across HSBC and with client executives. The role also involves collaborating across time zones and participating in discussions outside normal working hours when needed.

What you'll be doing

- Manage, design and execute program growth across a Commercial Card client portfolio

- Strengthen program retention and support the introduction of new products and solutions

- Collaborate across internal teams to deliver optimal outcomes for clients and the organization

- Run quarterly business reviews with clients to assess performance, identify opportunities and align priorities

- Partner with Sales and Banking teams to identify cross-sell opportunities and support revenue expansion initiatives

- Build a clear understanding of major client initiatives, operating procedures and organization structures to inform solution delivery

- Coordinate deployment of HSBC products and propositions in line with agreed client goals

- Shape Commercial Card solutions by mapping products and services to client business issues

What we're looking for

- Bring strong knowledge of commercial card products and trends

- Demonstrate client-facing commercial cards consulting experience including engagement at executive level across regions and global businesses

- Apply experience in Commercial Card solution selling and fitting products and services to client business issues

- Show a track record of maximizing revenues through effective commercial card program optimization

- Offer proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis plus Word and PowerPoint for business and client reviews

- Bring MBA or bachelor’s in finance or accounting, or equivalent experience in a Commercial Card environment

- Apply advanced problem-solving and strong time management across a busy client portfolio

- Work effectively with global clients and participate in discussions across multiple time zones, including outside normal working hours when required

- Strongly preferred that candidate can communicate effectively in Spanish and/or Portuguese alongside English
