About this role

The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking a  Senior Manager, Hotel Commercial Marketing  serving as the strategic marketing advisor for an assigned portfolio EMEA member hotels. Reporting to the Senior Director, Hotel Commercial Marketing, this role partners with member hotels in the region to strengthen their marketing performance and achieve their commercial objectives through strategic marketing guidance and the effective use of LHW's marketing programs, channels, services, and commercial solutions.

As the marketing pillar within LHW's integrated commercial advisory model, this role partners closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Member Experience, and Marketing teams to develop coordinated commercial strategies that support hotel growth. The Senior Manager serves as the primary marketing relationship for assigned hotels, translating marketing performance, customer insights, and commercial opportunities into actionable recommendations while providing a seamless connection to LHW's broader marketing capabilities.

The role also serves as the voice of EMEA member hotels within Marketing, sharing regional insights and hotel feedback that help shape audience strategies, content priorities, digital capabilities, and future marketing solutions. The Senior Manager also provides day-to-day leadership, coaching, and development for the Manager, Hotel Commercial Marketing, ensuring consistent delivery of LHW's advisory model across the region.

This is a full-time position located in Milan. We offer flexible workplace policies that allow for working remotely 3 days a week and require being in our Milan office 2 days a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays).

Key Responsibilities

Hotel Commercial Advisory

- Serve as the primary marketing advisor for an assigned portfolio of EMEA member hotels, developing strategic marketing recommendations aligned with each hotel's commercial objectives and business priorities.

- Lead marketing planning, business reviews, new member marketing onboarding, and ongoing marketing consultation throughout the membership lifecycle.

- Advise hotels on marketing strategy, digital marketing best practices, customer engagement, and commercial opportunities while helping maximize participation in LHW's marketing programs, channels, services, commercial solutions, and third-party marketing offerings.

- Analyze hotel marketing performance, campaign participation, media value, digital insights, and commercial outcomes to identify opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

- Partner with Audience Strategy & Marketing to communicate the value and impact of LHW's marketing activities through hotel-specific performance reporting, media value, and commercial insights.

- Capture hotel feedback, regional market trends, and commercial opportunities to inform audience strategies, content priorities, digital capabilities, and future marketing solutions.

Regional Leadership & Team Development

- Lead the Hotel Commercial Marketing team across EMEA, ensuring consistent delivery of LHW's hotel commercial marketing advisory model and alignment with global standards and priorities.

- Partner across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Member Experience, and Digital teams to align commercial priorities and deliver integrated marketing solutions for member hotels.

- Partner with Audience Strategy & Marketing and the Content & Creative Studio to identify hotel merchandising opportunities across LHW-owned channels.

- Share regional best practices, market intelligence, and commercial insights to strengthen LHW's marketing capabilities and member value proposition.

- Represent the EMEA region in enterprise marketing initiatives, advocating for member hotel needs while helping shape future marketing programs, commercial solutions, and member-facing capabilities.

People Management Responsibilities

- One direct report: Manager, Hotel Commercial Marketing (EMEA)

- Lead, coach, and develop Manager, Hotel Commercial Marketing (EMEA), providing ongoing performance feedback, development planning, and mentorship.

- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team culture that promotes knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and consistent delivery of the Hotel Commercial Marketing advisory model.

- Set clear priorities, monitor performance, and support individual and team development to achieve regional and organizational objectives.

Skills

- Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, digital marketing, customer engagement, and commercial planning.

- Ability to analyze marketing performance, digital analytics, commercial data, and customer insights to develop  strategic, actionable marketing recommendations that strengthen hotel performance and member value.

- Experience building and improving operational processes, methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.

- Excellent relationship management and consultative communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and build trusted partnerships.

- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Sales, Revenue Management, Member Experience and Digital teams.

- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

- Demonstrates initiative, continuous improvement, and a customer-focused mindset while fostering collaboration and operational excellence.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.

- 7–10 years of progressive experience in marketing, digital marketing, hospitality, commercial strategy, consulting, or a related field.

- Demonstrated experience developing strategic marketing recommendations that drive commercial performance and business growth.

- Experience managing strategic client, partner, or stakeholder relationships in a consultative environment.

- Experience collaborating across cross-functional marketing and commercial teams.

- Hospitality, travel, luxury, or membership organization experience preferred.

- Fluent in English, Italian and French
