We are hiring Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technicians! Job Description We are seeking a full-time Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join a dynamic compounding pharmacy team in Florida. In this role, you will help deliver premium-quality compounded medications to patients and clinics nationwide while maintaining strict compliance with state and national regulatory standards and USP guidelines. Responsibilities

- Prepare and compound sterile medications in a controlled sterile environment in accordance with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines and Category 3 compliance requirements.
- Perform daily sterile intravenous (IV) compounding, following aseptic techniques and established pharmacy protocols.
- Execute sterile gowning procedures, including proper donning of sterile attire to maintain cleanroom integrity.
- Conduct sterile sampling and fingertip glove testing to support environmental monitoring and sterility assurance.
- Complete sterile media fills to validate aseptic technique and comply with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with production and filling of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy, proper labeling, and timely completion.
- Support inventory management by organizing, tracking, and replenishing compounding supplies and medications.
- Follow hospital pharmacy and compounding pharmacy procedures where applicable, ensuring alignment with regulatory and safety standards.
- Adhere to all relevant compounding, hospital pharmacy, and regulatory requirements to maintain compliance and patient safety.
- Collaborate with team members at the compounding bench to meet production goals and uphold high-quality standards.

Essential Skills

- Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state where the role is based.
- At least 2+ years of experience as a sterile compounding pharmacy technician, OR at least 1+ year of experience as a nonsterile compounding pharmacy technician in a hospital setting.
- Hands-on, daily experience with sterile IV compounding.
- Demonstrated proficiency in sterile gowning techniques.
- Experience with sterile sampling procedures.
- Competence in sterile fingertip glove testing methods.
- Ability to perform sterile media fills in accordance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Direct experience working with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines.
- Understanding and application of Category 3 compliance requirements in sterile compounding.
- General knowledge of pharmacy operations, including compounding, production, filling prescriptions, and inventory management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Pharmacy technician certification (such as PTCB) preferred but not required.
- Experience compounding capsules, nasal sprays, creams, and troches preferred.
- Hospital IV admixture experience preferred.
- Aseptic compounding experience preferred; nonsterile compounding technique experience is acceptable.
- Background in hospital pharmacy or compounding pharmacy environments is beneficial.

Work Environment This role is 100% onsite in a sterile compounding pharmacy environment. You will work in a closed-door setting with no direct patient contact, focusing exclusively on production and compounding activities at the bench within a collaborative team environment. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility emphasizes strict adherence to sterile procedures, USP 797/800 guidelines, and Category 3 compliance to ensure product quality and safety. The organization offers an opportunity to transition to a permanent role and provides a raise after the initial six-week training period, reflecting a commitment to professional development and long-term growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jupiter, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
