The Pharmacy Technician I assists pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications and are accountable to the supervising pharmacist who is legally responsible for the care and safety of the patients served by the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician I follows applicable standards and federal, state & local laws and regulations for the care and safety of the customers and patients served.

What You'll Do

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work alongside pharmacists to ensure patients receive safe, accurate, and timely medications. Responsibilities include:

- Assisting pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications
- Supporting daily pharmacy operations and workflow management
- Utilizing pharmacy automation, robotic dispensing technology, and medication management systems
- Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations
- Helping ensure the highest standards of patient safety and customer service
- Troubleshooting pharmacy automation and software systems as needed
- Working efficiently in a dynamic retail pharmacy environment

What We're Looking For

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent required

Licensure

- Current Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy, or willingness to obtain registration before your first day of employment
- Must meet state registration requirements, including fingerprinting and FBI background check

Experience

- Previous pharmacy experience preferred, but not required
- New technicians are encouraged to apply

Skills & Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with pharmacy automation technology preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn and utilize pharmacy software and workflow systems
- Dependable, team-oriented, and adaptable
