THE WORK
* Lead and mentor the CHSL (Cables, Harnesses, Subassembly and Labels) Industrial Engineering team, setting technical direction, prioritizing workload, and developing associate engineers and new hires into fully capable IE contributors
* Champion technology insertions and automation opportunities that improve safety, quality, cost, and delivery within the value stream
* Drive factory layout, line balancing, and capacity planning to optimize flow, reduce span time, and support production ramp across the CHSL footprint
* Partner cross-functionally with Operations Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management (PMT), and Facilities to align IE initiatives with production and program priorities
* Establish and track key performance metrics (throughput, capacity, efficiency, span) and translate data into actionable improvement projects
* Lead continuous-improvement and lean initiative; identifying bottlenecks, eliminating waste, and standardizing processes across CHSL work centers
* Coordinate capital and facilities projects tied to CHSL layout changes, equipment moves, and work-center reconfigurations

Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of professional experience
* Familiarity with SAP or a related manufacturing system
* Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts and technique and experience generating/implementing process improvements
* Experience with statistical analysis and data analytics
* MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills
* Prior lead / team-lead experience in a production environment
* Lean / Six Sigma certification or equivalent CI experience
* Experience with analytical tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
* Excellent verbal/written communications skills
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00

* For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
