About this role

You bring at least five years of experience supporting transaction coordination initiatives, project planning, and deliverable execution. Combined with your proven ability to lead multifaceted initiatives in dynamic environments, quickly master new systems, and embrace new responsibilities, you'll thrive as a member of this team.

As a Vice President within the Wholesale Loan Services (WLS) team at JPMorganChase, you will be responsible for driving strategy, execution, and adoption of operational initiatives in the Transaction Coordination space – primarily focused on North America. You will lead end-to-end process improvement and standardization, and act as a connector across regions to develop a scalable approach to common roles, procedures, and capability building. You will lead NA priorities while shaping a global view of role expectations, learning journeys, and consistent execution standards across regions.

Job responsibilities

- Own a portfolio of NA Transaction Coordination initiatives, including project plans, deliverables, working sessions, and senior stakeholder communications (readouts, status reporting, decision materials).
- Drive measurable improvements in cycle time, quality, capacity, rework reduction, and control execution through process redesign and standard operating routines.
- Identify delivery risks early, propose options, and drive decisions through to implementation; serve as an escalation point for complex initiative challenges.
- Establish and maintain standardized process flows, procedures, artifacts, and handoffs for NA, with an explicit eye toward what can be replicated globally.
- Partner with regional stakeholders (EMEA/APAC counterparts, process owners, and control partners) to align on a “common core” and manage local/regulatory exceptions transparently.
- Create governance mechanisms to sustain standardization (e.g., playbooks, process ownership, change intake, update cadence, and adoption measures).
- Build a capability framework for Transaction Coordination roles (skills/behaviors/knowledge by role and job grade).
- Design and implement learning journeys (onboarding → proficiency → advanced) including training paths, practice/on-the-job components, and simple assessment/checkpoint approaches.
- Define role progression expectations across job grades: what “ready for next level” looks like (experiences, mastery indicators, scope, and leadership behaviors), in partnership with NA leaders and HR/Talent where applicable.
- Improve coaching and feedback routines through playbooks and manager enablement tools (even without direct reports).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including driving strategy, execution, and adoption of operational initiatives in the Transaction Coordination space (transaction Coordination initiatives, project plans, deliverables, etc.).
- Strong track record leading multidimensional initiatives in a fast-paced environment; ability to learn new systems quickly and take on new assignments.
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, escalate appropriately, and drive solutions to closure.
- Strong collaboration and influence skills across teams and senior management; high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence, drive decisions, and simplify complex processes.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

- Demonstrated interest/experience in process excellence and continuous improvement (practical application preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives.
