The House of Aperitivo brings together some of the most loved Italian brands in the US, including Aperol, Campari, Sarti and Crodino. As Channel Marketing Manager, based in our New York office, you’ll build the programs that bring them to consumers across the country, own brands end to end, and help shape where a growing portfolio goes next.

General Description of the Role

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing insight-driven, trade-specific brand activation programs that drive profitable growth for Campari America’s Italian portfolio. This role partners closely with Brand Marketing, Sales, Field Activation, and external agencies to ensure programs are aligned with brand strategy, channel priorities, and execution capabilities in market.

The role emphasizes program strategy, customer relevance, execution excellence, and ROI discipline, translating consumer and channel insights into scalable, high-impact commercial plans.

Mission / Objectives

- Drive volume, distribution, and velocity through effective channel and customer marketing programs

- Translate consumer, customer, and channel insights into compelling activation strategies

- Ensure strong alignment between brand strategy, sales priorities, and in-market execution

Strategic Planning & Program Development

Develop insight-led, channel-specific activation programs including POSM, sampling programs, tool-kits, key visuals and print-on-demand, and shopper marketing across the House of Italian Portfolio.

Through the Line Annual Brand Planning and contributions to Strat Planning

- Create channel standards, playbooks, and execution guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability

- Develop and cultivate agency relationships for Below The Line needs (asset creation, data for Selling Stories, Sell Sheets and KVs) and build scopes accordingly

- Identify opportunities to extend national brand initiatives into regional and key account executions that would include Brand Partnerships and Innovation Commercialization.

Program Execution & Field Alignment

- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and optimization of channel programs

- Partner with Sales, Field Marketing, and distributor teams to ensure programs are relevant, sellable, and executable

- Conduct quarterly market visits to monitor execution quality, distributor and customer feedback, and competitive activity

- Provide clear sell-in tools, execution frameworks, and expectations to field teams

Performance, Measurement & ROI Management

- Define KPIs and success metrics to measure program effectiveness and execution quality

- Track, analyze, and report program performance, correlating activity to volume, distribution, and ROI

- Share insights and learnings with marketing, sales and leadership to shape future brand plans and channel strategies

- Support monthly business reviews and performance discussions

Budget & Investment Management

- Manage program and agency budgets with disciplined financial stewardship

- Develop market investment recommendations rooted in insights and performance data

- Monitor forecasts against spend and proactively flag risks or optimization opportunities

Communication & Cross-Functional Leadership

- Contribute to integrated communication planning across Channel Marketing, Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, Field Sales, Trade Advocacy and global and local leadership teams

- Collaboration and Project Management on key initiatives with Global Team

- Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and execution excellence

- Ensure brand strategies, positioning, and standards are consistently reflected across all channel executions

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Channel Marketing, or Customer Marketing

- Minimum 3 years managing trade or channel activation programs in the U.S. spirits industry

- Proven experience managing agencies and complex, multi-brand programs

- Bachelor’s degree required

Role Requirements

- Ability to travel up to approximately 25%

- Regular in-office presence aligned with team expectations

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $101,200 - $134,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations. In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
