Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to oversee the PB ANZ customer returns process, ensuring that all returns are managed in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The role is responsible for coordinating customer returns from initiation through to completion, including managing return tickets in C4C and maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation. The role also coordinates equipment relocations and provides operational support to the Supply Chain team as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end customer returns process, from initiation through to receipt, assessment, resolution, and closure;
- Create, manage, monitor, and close return tickets in C4C to ensure returns are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes;
- Coordinate equipment relocations, including arranging collection, transport, delivery, and the required system and supporting documentation updates;
- Liaise with customers, Customer Service, Sales, technicians, warehouses, and freight providers to progress returns and relocations and resolve issues promptly;
- Monitor return and relocation activities, follow up on outstanding actions, and escalate delays, risks, or exceptions where required;
- Maintain accurate and complete records for returns and equipment relocations, including return authorities, freight documentation, proof of delivery, and system records;
- Investigate and resolve return-related non-conformances, inventory discrepancies, and system exceptions in collaboration with the warehouse, technical, and relevant business teams;
- Ensure returned equipment is receipted, dispatched, transferred, or otherwise processed accurately and on time in the relevant systems;
- Complete all return-related transactions in SAP S/4HANA accurately and promptly, ensuring that stock balances held by the 3PL reconcile with the inventory records in the system;
- Work with freight providers to coordinate collections and deliveries, address service issues, and support continuous improvement in freight performance;
- Monitor and report on key returns and relocation metrics, including open tickets, ageing, completion times, exceptions, and freight performance;
- Analyse return and freight data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities for process improvement;
- Support Supply Chain projects, operational activities, and process improvement or transformation initiatives as required; and
- Complete other reasonable duties required by the business from time to time;
- Cover the Supply Chain Demand Planner when on leave.
Measurables
- Percentage of return tickets accurately updated and closed in C4C within the agreed service timeframe: target ≥ 95%;
- Percentage of return-related transactions completed accurately in SAP S/4HANA within two business days of receiving the required information: target ≥ 98%.
Key Capabilities/Qualifications/Experience
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures;
- Solid understanding and experience working with ERP;
- Apply high level of problem-solving skills;
- Conduct all responsibilities with focus and high attention to detail;
- Solid experience working with MS Office;
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge;
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment; and
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
