Job Summary:
The Compensation Consultant (US Oncology Network) will lead compensation programs including participation in salary surveys, benchmarking, job architecture maintenance, annual compensation review support, salary structure design, geographic differentials, and overall compensation governance. This position will work closely with HR Partners across the Network to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness of compensation programs. The role will also support various projects as assigned by leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports the design and administration of annual compensation review cycles including merit and short-term incentives.
• Maintains the Network’s Job Architecture including recommended updates or mapping new roles into the current career framework.
• Leads compensation integrations related to current and future mergers and acquisitions.
• Conducts benchmarking and market research to identify trends and best practices related to healthcare industry.
• Develops and maintains policies, procedures, and processes related to compensation programs.
• Collaborates with HRBPs and business leaders to understand organizational goals and develop strategies to align compensation programs with those goals.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness of compensation programs.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information related to compensation programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 7+ years of compensation experience, including strategy development and expertise in base pay, variable pay programs, market pricing, and job evaluation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through World at Work strongly preferred.
• Experience with Workday Compensation module strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
