Job Title: HR Generalist Job Description We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support leave administration programs and provide guidance to employees, managers, and HR partners regarding leave-related policies and processes. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate complex leave situations while ensuring compliance with applicable policies and regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting employee leave programs, interpreting leave policies, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced HR environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding leave-related questions and requests.
- Interpret and administer leave policies, including FMLA, disability, and other applicable leave programs.
- Assist employees in understanding available leave options and required documentation.
- Advise managers and HR partners on leave-related policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Support the HR team by gathering, reviewing, and maintaining leave-related documentation and records.
- Ensure accurate processing and tracking of leave requests.
- Help resolve employee concerns and provide guidance throughout the leave management process.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure a positive employee experience and consistent policy application.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2-4 years of customer service, HR, leave administration, or employee support experience.
- Knowledge of federal and state leave regulations, including FMLA and disability programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other business applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting leave administration programs within a corporate HR environment.
- Familiarity with disability, accommodation, and employee leave processes.
- Experience interpreting HR policies and providing guidance to employees and managers.
- Knowledge of HR systems and case management tools.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
