## Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Faculty Affairs, the Faculty Affairs Administrator manages the day-to-day administrative operations of the Faculty Affairs office. The position leads the administration and coordination of Faculty Affairs operations, including faculty appointments and reviews, adjunct faculty administration, evaluations, governance, scheduling, and events. The role manages departmental records, timelines, tracking systems, and reports; coordinates with University offices; and ensures compliance with applicable policies and procedures. The position serves as an administrative resource to faculty and Faculty Affairs leadership while overseeing operational planning, issue resolution, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, administration or related field.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Business, administration or related field.
Required Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience, including experience in one or more of the following areas: designing and evaluating operational systems, working with faculty, working on academic and/or faculty projects, budget administration, human resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience: 3+ years Experience managing administrative operations, budgeting or special projects at a college or university, including Qualtrix.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail and demonstrated ability to develop, draft, edit, and communicate scholarly and professional materials to diverse audiences. Ability to develop, implement, and effectively communicate policies, procedures, and operational guidelines across a diverse faculty, staff, and research community. Working knowledge of standard office applications, databases, financial and budget systems, and other technology platforms that support research administration and operational effectiveness.

## Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $77,000.00 to USD $86,483.90. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
