About this role

Business Operations Lead, E-Commerce & Marketing
Department: E-Commerce / Digital
Reports to: Senior Director, E-Commerce

About the Role
The Business Operations Lead sits at the center of our digital commerce and marketing efforts, which span a growing portfolio of e-commerce sites. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of E-Commerce, you’ll move fluidly between strategy and execution: evaluating new opportunities and shaping them into clear recommendations, building the analysis behind key decisions, and driving cross-functional initiatives through to completion. The portfolio evolves with business priorities — one quarter may center on marketing programs, the next on platform or customer-experience initiatives. This is a role for a versatile operator who learns new problems quickly and owns outcomes end to end.

Key Responsibilities
•          Own a dynamic portfolio of projects across e-commerce and marketing, taking each from initial concept through to completion
•          Research and evaluate new initiatives — gather the facts and deliver clear, well-supported recommendations to leadership
•          Drive execution across teams: coordinate development, marketing, data, and external partners to keep initiatives on track and remove obstacles as they arise
•          Keep leadership informed: maintain portfolio-wide visibility on status, risks, and open decisions, and track follow-ups out of cross-functional meetings
•          Support key decisions with data — build the analysis or model that determines whether an initiative is worth pursuing

What We’re Looking For
•        Bachelor’s degree or comparable hands-on professional experience.
•          Experience in business operations, strategy, consulting, e-commerce, digital marketing, or a similar role where you owned varied, cross-functional work
•          A track record of personally driving projects from concept to completion
•          Analytical: comfortable working with data, building analyses and models, and forming well-reasoned, defensible recommendations
•          A versatile generalist who thrives on variety — equally effective in technical discussions with developers and channel strategy conversations with marketing
•          High ownership and a hands-on approach — eager to learn new tools and develop new skillsets as projects demand, with the judgment to know when to act independently and when to align first
•          Familiarity with e-commerce or digital marketing strongly preferred; B2B or industrial distribution experience is a plus
