JOB SUMMARY

Seeking a Quality Lead with strong data-testing leadership and healthcare domain expertise who can define strategy, oversee end-to-end quality activities, guide technical teams, and translate complex data-quality risks into clear business impacts. The role does not require day-to-day hands-on test execution.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Strategy and oversight: Lead data testing strategy, planning, estimation, execution oversight, quality metrics, and reporting.
- Data validation: Oversee SQL and database validation, data integration, ETL, migration, and end-to-end data-flow testing.
- Test data and tools: Guide test data management and apply experience with test automation and data-validation tools.
- Healthcare expertise: Understand claims, membership, provider, and care management data.
- Risk and bug: Lead risk identification, mitigation, defect management, and root cause analysis.
- Delivery leadership: Drive quality across the SDLC, Agile delivery, and release readiness.
- Stakeholder leadership: Build client relationships, lead cross-functional collaboration, and communicate quality status and business impacts to executives.

EXPERIENCE

Required

- 3 Years of proven ability to manage projects, timelines, and resources effectively
- 3 Years of demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and meet client expectations
- 3 Years of experience leading and mentoring small teams through all phases of the SDLC; ability to coach and develop QA testers and Associate Quality Leads

Preferred

- Leadership experience in large healthcare transformation, data migration, MDM, data warehouse, or integration programs
- Healthcare data-domain knowledge across claims, membership, provider, and care management
- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platforms
- Experience with test automation, data-validation tools, API testing, and JSON, XML, or file validation
- Familiarity with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace
- Strong understanding of end-to-end healthcare business processes and regulatory quality expectations

SKILLS

- The ideal candidate is an experienced Quality Lead who can set data-testing strategy, oversee validation across complex data flows and platforms, and lead delivery across healthcare transformation programs. The individual should combine data-quality expertise, healthcare domain knowledge, risk management, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate technical concerns into clear business impacts for executive and client audiences; day-to-day hands-on testing is not required.

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Pay Range Minimum:
$72,700.00

Pay Range Maximum:
$116,600.00

Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.  The displayed salary range does not reflect any geographic differential Highmark may apply for certain locations based upon comparative markets.
