To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Intern located in Aguascalientes
The Industrial Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing and business processes. Conducts time studies, capacity analysis, productivity improvement projects, workflow optimization, and cost reduction initiatives. Develops and implements continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
What a typical day looks like:
- Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity planning activities.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate process improvement projects across cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate production layouts and material flow to maximize efficiency.
- Support quality, safety, and cost reduction initiatives throughout the organization.
- Prepare reports and present operational performance results to management.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing, operations, or process improvement.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
- Experience with time studies, capacity planning, and line balancing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and data analysis tools.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced English.
