## Job Summary



The "IT Supervisor" will be based in Columbia, SC reporting to IT Manager.

This leader supervises a team of IT professionals at the site and ensures the site's information systems run reliably, securely, and within budget. The role partners with functional and operational managers to understand their current and future technology needs and makes sure IT infrastructure is installed, configured, and maintained to meet them.

What a typical day looks like:

- Plan, prioritize, and manage IT support and maintenance activities so information systems run reliably and IT resources are used effectively.
- Direct daily department activities to maximize system availability and support business needs across the site's IT infrastructure, including IMAC (install, move, add, change) requests and Help Desk ticket response.
- Oversee site IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, telephony, server administration, desktop support, printers, and barcode scanners.
- Partner with functional and operational managers to identify current and future information needs, and define how systems should be installed, configured, and maintained to meet them.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend hardware and software products that improve the capabilities of the organization's information systems.
- Ensure the integrity and security of enterprise data across hybrid cloud environments, in line with business needs and industry best practices for privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IT policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and legal and regulatory compliance.
- Enforce compliance with IT policies and procedures, and provide clear guidance for day-to-day decision-making.
- Manage computer operations scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
- Ensure software and license deployment aligns with Flex software and license management strategies.
- Work with cross-functional teams to prepare for and participate in internal and external audits.
- Select, develop, and evaluate team members, and guide and coach the team to keep systems supported effectively and within budget.
- Implement HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified, motivated workforce.

What we're looking to add to our team:

- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
- Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of IT infrastructure experience, including at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and virtualization or hybrid cloud environments (e.g., VMware, Azure).
- Experience with IT service management practices (ITIL preferred), ticketing systems, and SLA management.
- Familiarity with IT security controls, backup and recovery, and audit/compliance requirements.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA (Network+, Security+), CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems and draw sound conclusions across multiple variables.
