Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Manufacturing provides strategic and operational leadership for manufacturing execution, workforce planning, quality, cost, delivery, and continuous improvement. This role translates demand and customer requirements into executable production plans, leads manufacturing teams, and partners across Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Program Management, and Human Resources to deliver safe, efficient, scalable, and high-quality operations.

Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute the manufacturing strategy for assigned operations in alignment with the company’s mission, values, and business goals. Continuously improve manufacturing processes for efficiency and scalability.
· Create production plans, schedules, and budgets to meet product demand while maintaining quality, cost, and on-time delivery requirements.
· Develop and implement manufacturing headcount requirements and hiring plans based on forecasts, demand plans, yields, cycle times, capacity, and shift needs.
· Implement and maintain quality-control measures throughout the manufacturing process. Establish quality standards, monitor performance, and address issues in partnership with Quality and Engineering.
· Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage component procurement, inventory levels, material availability, and vendor support for production needs.
· Control manufacturing costs by identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting supplier negotiations, and managing approved budgets.
· Maintain knowledge of applicable industry regulations, safety standards, environmental requirements, and company policies. Ensure assigned operations meet established requirements.
· Drive continuous-improvement initiatives to improve manufacturing efficiency, product quality, cost, and sustainability. Apply Lean manufacturing principles and appropriate technologies where applicable.
· Identify and mitigate manufacturing risks to support a resilient and adaptable operation.
· Lead and develop manufacturing managers, supervisors, leads, and production teams. Set clear expectations and accountability across assigned shifts and areas.
· Use manufacturing data and performance metrics to make decisions and communicate results, risks, and support needs to leadership.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
· Minimum of 10 years of progressive manufacturing experience, including manufacturing leadership experience.
· Experience in manufacturing leadership roles, preferably in consumer electronics, printed circuit board, server, storage, networking, rack-integration, or related manufacturing environments.
· Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, cost control, capacity planning, labor planning, and environmental or sustainability practices.
· Demonstrated experience leading and developing managers, supervisors, leads, or multi-shift production teams.
· Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Familiarity with industry-standard manufacturing, ERP/MRP, reporting, data-analysis, and supply-chain tools or systems.
Preferred Qualifications
· Master’s degree or MBA.
· Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, structured problem-solving, new-product-introduction, or manufacturing-automation experience.
· Experience supporting customer audits, regulatory requirements, environmental initiatives, or multi-site manufacturing operations.

Work Environment and Physical Expectations
This role operates in both office and manufacturing-floor environments. Business needs may require extended hours, support across shifts, occasional evenings or weekends, and travel for business, customer, or training purposes. The employee must be able to safely access and work within assigned manufacturing areas.
