About the Role:

The Senior Manager, Warehouse Operations is responsible for leading all warehouse operations at the assigned facility, including receiving, inventory control, storage, replenishment, production support, order picking, packing, quality and fulfillment. This position translates organizational goals into daily operating plans and ensures the warehouse consistently achieves safety, quality, service, productivity, labor, cost, and inventory objectives.

Working closely with warehouse supervisors, team leads, and warehouse team members, the Senior Manager provides hands-on leadership, manages staffing and capacity, monitors performance, resolves operational issues, and drives sustainable process improvements. This position partners with Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Customer Success, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Quality to align warehouse capabilities with business and customer needs.

What Youll Do:

- Lead daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, replenishment, production support, picking, packing, and order fulfillment, while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, accuracy, and service.

- Develop and manage daily and weekly operating plans based on order volume, inventory priorities, staffing, capacity, and customer requirements, adjusting resources and workloads as business needs change

- Lead and develop warehouse supervisors and team leads by setting clear expectations, managing performance, providing coaching, and maintaining appropriate staffing and leadership coverage.

- Monitor key performance indicators including safety, productivity, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, labor, quality, and service, using performance data to identify issues and drive improvement.

- Oversee inventory control, warehouse space, equipment, and resources, ensuring accurate receiving, product rotation, cycle counts, reconciliation, and timely resolution of inventory discrepancies.

- Identify and resolve operational, quality, workflow, and service issues through root-cause analysis and corrective action, while leading continuous improvement initiatives and supporting new systems, equipment, automation, technology, and processes.

- Partner with cross-functional teams to align staffing, inventory availability, order priorities, production needs, and customer expectations, while preparing for peak periods, staffing shortages, equipment downtime, and other operational disruption

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position operates in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment with exposure to cold temperatures, approximately 34F, moving equipment, conveyor systems, and varying noise levels. The role also routinely uses standard office technology and requires compliance with all site-specific safety practices and personal protective equipment requirements.

The position requires regular communication, computer work, and frequent movement throughout the facility. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods and may bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb stairs, and navigate active warehouse areas.

The position requires the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds. The employee must possess the visual ability needed to inspect products, read labels, use warehouse systems, and operate safely. - Schedule and hours may vary based on operational need

- Flexibility required to support multiple shifts, early mornings, evenings, weekends, peak periods, staffing shortages, and other business-critical event

- Additional hours or days may be required during peak seasons or based on business need

- Limited travel may be required for training, meetings, or temporary operational support at other company locations

Qualifications

What Youll Bring:

- Bachelors degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered

- 5+ years of progressive warehouse
