Description

Are you a technically curious problem-solver who thrives on helping customers achieve meaningful outcomes in the cloud? Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services is looking for a Delivery Consultant to join our team and work directly with customers to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions that address real business challenges. In this role, you will combine your technical depth with a consultative mindset to guide customers through their cloud journey, from solution design through delivery. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, assess customer requirements, and build solutions that account for complexity, scale, and performance. Your ability to translate technical concepts into business value will be key as you advise customer stakeholders and contribute to long-term technology strategies. If you are motivated by impact, energized by working across technologies, and ready to grow your career alongside some of the most innovative organizations in the world, we want to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions tailored to customer requirements, applying your expertise in system architecture, migration, and cloud computing to deliver outcomes that are operationally ready and built for scale.
- Assess customer current-state maturity and desired business and technical outcomes, then define solution approaches that address complex technical challenges while identifying and mitigating risks throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and partner organizations to develop technical solutions, contribute to presales activities, and support smooth sales-to-delivery handoffs with detailed skill requirements and governance structures.
- Create and share reusable technical content such as reference architectures, whitepapers, and code artifacts that drive efficiency and innovation across customer engagements.
- Provide prescriptive guidance and mentorship to customer teams and colleagues, helping to build cloud capabilities while contributing to the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
