Industrial Sewist

Job Title: Industrial Se wing Machine Operator                                Location: N Preston St.19104

We are looking for an Industrial Sewist to join our growing production team and contribute to the completion of our quality products.

Job Summary: This role is responsible for altering, creating, repairing and restyling our Pilates equipment accessories using industrial sewing machines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fabric Preparation

- Measure, cut, and prepare fabrics based on project specifications

- Work with a variety of upholstery materials, including vinyl, and canvas

- Ensure precise alignment and pattern matching during fabric preparation

- Sewing and Assembly

- Operate industrial sewing machines to create high-quality seams for equ i pment components like mats, pillows, and cushions

- Assemble fabric components for upholstery project s

- Incorporate piping, and other fasteners into designs

- Customization

- Create and sew custom fabric components, such as intricate patterns and unique design s

- Adjust sewing techniques to suit different materials and textures

- Maintenance and Quality Contro l

- Inspect completed projects for durability, accuracy, and client satisfaction

- Perform necessary repairs and adjustments to achieve high-quality results

- Provide input on fabric selection and sewing methods to enhance project outcomes

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in upholstery and sewing

- Proven expertise in handling marine grade upholstery, vinyl, no tions a nd tools

- Strong ability to measure, cut, and assemble fabrics with precision

- Proficiency in piping, a plus

- Experience with industrial sewing machines and upholstery equipment

- High school level education or vocational training

Working Conditions:

- The role may require s itting for extended periods and working with various machines and tools.

- Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as needed and must be worn as required .
