Senior Construction Estimator

Join a growing, industry-leading general contractor specializing in complex healthcare, pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, manufacturing, and commercial construction projects throughout Connecticut and the Northeast.
### What You'll Do
Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed cost estimates Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for all CSI divisions Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs Identify project risks, opportunities, logistics, and constructability considerations Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and scope reviews Develop conceptual, budgetary, and hard bid estimates Collaborate with project managers and operations teams during project turnover Maintain historical cost databases and market pricing information Assist in value engineering and alternate pricing strategies
### Qualifications
7+ years of construction estimating experience (5+ years preferred) Experience estimating commercial, healthcare, life sciences, manufacturing, laboratory, pharmaceutical, or cleanroom projects Strong understanding of construction means and methods Proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, ProEst, or similar estimating software Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
### Preferred Qualifications
Experience with healthcare renovations, biotech facilities, laboratories, or GMP-regulated environments Knowledge of MEP systems and their impact on construction costs Familiarity with design-build and CMAR project delivery methods Experience with Procore, Sage, and Microsoft Project LEED, PMP, or additional construction-related certifications are a plus

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $200000.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits
