About this role

In this role you will have to oversee and ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance processes across all the farms Peru, in accordance with the OZblu ® standard. The role is also responsible for ensuring that quality data is accurately captured, managed, and analysed to support informed decision-making and enable the allocation of the right product to the right customer.

This position is open for candidates based in Lima, Chiclayo or Trujillo.

Key Performance Outputs

Managing the In-field QAO

- Manage and monitor the performance of the In-field Quality Assurance Officers to ensure objectives and standards are met.
- Ensure the In-field QAO team are capturing data and providing sufficient feedback on quality and compliance to make informed recommendations and decisions.
- Adress the n on-conformances or concerns raised by the In-field QAO’s during their routine farm inspections
Quality Control

- Ensure packed product meets the required product standards, prior to product leaving the farm/packhouse.
- Collate, Analyse and interpret QC data to drive accurate and timely decision making
Quality Management Systems

- Ensure that projects adhere to regulatory requirements, quality standards, and sustainability practices.
- Support growers in Peru to comply to OZblu standards in terms of following the Pre- and Post-harvest standards.
- Manage the Compliance and Quality team to ensure regulatory or protocol changes are implemented and best practise is maintained.

### Requisitos
Minimum requirements:

- Bachelor degreee in in Food Science, Food Technology, Engineering or similar.
- Experience supervising
teams.
- Minimum of 5 years in agribusiness.
Blue Berries preferred.
- Fluent in Spanish & English

Knowledge and Technical Skills

- Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Valid drivers license
- Technical knowledge and experience working with blueberries will be an advantage
