Standard Job Description
Performs the Make, Buy and / or Bill of Material (BOM) planning activities associated with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) transactions. Performs one or more multiple manufacturing activities within various manufacturing functions. Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with manufacturing and Operations Management to provide shop floor control on make parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, provides timely status and expedites or works around plans to preserve schedule. Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes and coordinates with Engineering and Change Board Rep to make the associated changes to the BOM.
PP&C in the material center is looking for an experienced planner to join the inventory management team. Individual will be responsible for both receiving and inventory management in the warehouse, working between SAP and Apriso to ensure inventory accuracy and address process related issues in the process. The scope includes scheduling/reviewing cycle count data, investigating aging inventory, receiving dock support for good receipt issues, and supporting PMT metric data collection for material center operations.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
* Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
* Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
* SAP Experience
* Production Planning and Material Control knowledge
Desired Skills
* Experience working with Apriso
* Past experience with Buy Planning, Manufacturingand/or Make Planning experience in warehouse environment
* Demonstrated ability to work with multiple levels of management, industry, peers, a represented workforce or business
* Inventory Control and material handling knowledge, including: experience with material requirements and Dock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas
* Ability to understand engineering drawings and partslists
* ASCM Certified in Production and InventoryManagement (CPIM) certification
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
