About this role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and servicing electronic and electromechanical. This role ensures that equipment meets the manufacturer’s specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable medical device regulations.

- Provide technical support to the manufacturing area in the evaluation, installation, maintenance, and improvement of equipment, components, and electronic and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose, repair, and perform troubleshooting on equipment and systems, including PLCs, ensuring their optimal operation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to approved SOPs, ensuring equipment reliability and availability.
- Interpret plans, diagrams, and technical documentation for the correct execution of tasks and development of solutions.
- Manage spare parts, tools, and materials, ensuring their availability and optimal conditions for use.
- Record and document activities in the CMMS, ensuring the control of work orders, resources, costs, and inventory.
- Support in root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, downtime monitoring, and the application of Lean Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement.
- Comply with safety regulations and participate in training, as well as train technical staff when required.
What will convince us:
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Mechanics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Ladder Logic, Structured Text; Siemens).
- Knowledge of control systems, sensors, actuators, and ability to read electrical diagrams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (RCA) and continuous improvement mindset.
- High sense of responsibility, organization, and compliance with safety standards and established procedures.
- Available to work the 5th shift.
