We are currently looking for a Product Planning Intern to join our team in Franklin, TN. We're a collaborative team that takes customer insights and automotive trends and translates them into future Nissan vehicles, giving interns the opportunity to play a meaningful role in helping define tomorrow's products. This internship provides exposure to market research, competitive analysis, consumer insights, and product strategy while working alongside experienced product planning professionals.
A Day in the Life :
- Analyze consumer, market, and competitive data and transform findings into Excel-based reports and PowerPoint presentations.
- Develop charts, visualizations, and data-driven recommendations to support product planning decisions.
- Support competitive benchmarking activities and help organize vehicle evaluations.
- Research and identify emerging automotive, technology, and consumer market trends.
- Assist the team with strategic projects that help shape future Nissan vehicle programs.
Who We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Students entering their Junior or Senior year at the start of the upcoming academic term.
- Ability to analyze automotive market, consumer, and competitive data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage projects independently.
- Ability to develop clear, compelling, data-driven presentations and recommendations.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to communicate insights and recommendations based on data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- GPA of 3.0 or above (Candidates will be required to provide an official or unofficial transcript during the application process for verification.)
- Ability to perform work onsite at Franklin, TN.
